BAM (Business as Mission)

E3Empower (www.e3empower.com)  is partnering with MOM to provide the resources to implement MED/MF on the mission field.

MED/MF:E3Empower is the expert in the field of MED/MF (Microenterprise Development/Microfinance.

Wholistic Approach: Through MED/MF, communities are impacted spiritually, physically and economically.

Genesis 1:28: “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

At the Heart of MED/MF: Microenterprise Development (MED)/ Business As Mission (BAM) are primarily and most importantly about sharing the Gospel and discipling believers in Jesus Christ. Most people will gladly get involved if their benefit is to gain income. However, this is not what MED/BAM is about.

In order for an individual to join a Trust Group, they must show a desire to learn about the Gospel, to be accountable and integrous to the Trust Group, and to grow in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is at the heart of MED/BAM.

Advancing the Church into the Community: As disciples of Jesus are made they will contagiously reach out to others through their microenterprise, advancing the church into the community!

E3empower Targets Three Areas: education, energy and entrepreneurship.

E3empower develops, trains, and networks to provide appropriate resources for the mission field.  These unique resources enable nationals/local people to become empowering and self-supporting so that they are not dependent on outside help.

Modeling and Teaching Biblical Business Principles: As they are taught and trained with a Biblical understanding of stewardship in all areas of life, this will impact not only their individual lives, but whole communities and nations!

SELF SUPPORTING MINISTRY- MED/BAM

Microenterprise Development (MED) and Business As Mission (BAM) are primarily and most importantly about sharing the Gospel and discipling believers in Jesus Christ. Most people will gladly get involved if their benefit is to gain income. However, this is NOT what MED/BAM is about. An individual who is a candidate for microenterprise and to be part of a Trust Group must show a desire to learn about the Gospel, to be accountable and integrous to the Trust Group and to grow in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is at the heart of MED/BAM.  As disciples of Jesus are made they will contagiously reach out to others through their microenterprise. In this way the Gospel is shared as  believers in Christ also become self-supporting.

What is E3?
E3empower is an empowering ministry that targets three areas: education, energy and entrepreneurship. E3empower(www.e3empower.com) is a sister organization of MOM. E3empower develops, trains, and networks to provide appropriate resources for the mission field.

Biblical Community Development
Through Holistic Missions we are restoring God’s Kingdom and His people. MOM and E3empower are partnering together with the common goal of providing resources to enable nationals to become empowering and self-supporting so that they are not dependent on outside help. As they are taught and trained with a Biblical understanding of stewardship in all areas of life, this will impact not only their individual lives, but whole communities and nations!

Virtual Computing
Virtual Computing gives students the opportunity to learn computing skills at a critical time in their life. Not only do they learn more effectively using educational resources on computers, they also develop crucial computing skills which are in high demand in the local job market. Virtual Computing enables the computer education ministry to develop  curriculum through the use of CD, DVD, or internet access.

Sustainable Energy
Can you imagine a world without light? How would your life be without the power needed to operate your electrical devices? In many developing countries, there are millions of people living in remote, off-grid areas where the necessary infrastructure for electricity has not been installed. E3empower finds the technology that is appropriate for the energy needs and environment of the people in these areas. Furthermore, we believe the local people can leverage our products to build their own capability through micro-enterprise.

The rechargeable battery draws energy from solar power and includes a USB plug and multi-functional battery charger.

Power Save program
This program helps save energy by controlling the amount of bulb light. It can save up to 25% of expended energy and can be used not only in developing countries but also in the communities where we live in the western world.
