This season Proximity Designs started sales of solar lights in Myanmar. The lights, from Hong Kong based company d.light, are designed to be practically indestructible. We decided to test that claim, and took them down to Pyapon in the Ayerwady Delta where we submerged them in water, drove over them with a motorbike and threw them out of a palm tree. Did they survive?
